Paintsville Lake State Park, Marina, Campground and Floaters Restaurant, located along the shores of 1,240 acres of one of the most majestic lakes in Eastern KY, camping, boating, swimming, hiking, walking trails, picnicking, and great food can all be found along this property. Paintsville Lake offers superb walleye, bass, crappie, sunfish and trout fishing. The marina offers slip and boat rental and full services for all your boating needs. Kiwanis Walking Trail, 1.6 miles of easy hiking, plus an extreme 6 mile Boy Scout

Mayo Mansion, and Mayo Memorial United Methodist Church, designed and built by John C.C.Mayo, Paintsville entrepreneur. The home and church were built at the turn of the century, with the church featuring stained glass windows, and an organ donated by Andrew Carnegie.
